Coffee prices looking stable at USD 220
Since the summer green coffee prices have come down from dizzy heights but are still double what they were a year or two ago. We hope to trim wholesale prices a little as the new deliveries come in. The New York price, based on standard grade Brasilian seems to have found a floor at USD 2.20 per pound. Supply and demand suggests prices may weaken more but global financial speculators may make another stampede into commodities.
